On December 5, OpenAI announced that the company would begin a continuous release of new features starting Thursday. The company posted on X: "12 days, 12 live broadcasts, a bunch of new things of various sizes, OpenAI's 12-day event period starts tomorrow."

CEO Sam Altman further explained that starting from Thursday at 10 AM Pacific Time (2 AM Beijing Time on Friday), there will be a live broadcast every working day showcasing a new product or sample, which will include some large new products as well as some 'small gifts.'
