PANews reported on December 22 that according to Reuters, the El Salvador Congress approved an immigration law that allows foreigners who "donate" Bitcoin to government social and economic development projects to quickly obtain citizenship. The law is expected to take effect in the next few days and does not set a minimum "donation" amount.
As reported earlier this month, El Salvador launched a free visa program that offers citizenship for a $1 million investment in BTC or USDT.
