During the last Bitcoin halving in 2020, Bitcoin increased by 46.9% in December, and during the halving in 2016, it rose by 30.8% in December, both of which were the largest increases in the previous 12 months.

Ethereum's performance in December is usually quite weak. It really picks up from January to May next year, with monthly increases of either 20% or 30%. During that time, Bitcoin will be consolidating at a high level, while Ethereum will become the new leader, taking many altcoins on a wild ride, and it's not just crazy for a week; it can go on for several months.
