The price of the first cryptocurrency continues its reliable growth, exceeding the $36,000 mark and reaching $36,700 on the night of November 8-9. Top altcoins also showed an increase in price, but not as fast as Bitcoin. At the time of writing, the price of Bitcoin is around $36,700 and Ethereum is trading around $1,920.

The total market capitalization is $1.42 trillion, and Bitcoin's share of it is 50.3%. In October, trading volume on centralized exchanges (CEX) increased by 87.2% compared to September, reaching $632 billion.

The founder of MN Trading predicts that the total market capitalization will reach $1.8 trillion.

Several experts also pointed to the preconditions for the price of Bitcoin to rise to the $40,000 mark, including rising open interest in futures.

Technical analyst Peter Brandt warned traders about the possibility of adverse market movements.
