- Recently mentioned as three prominent projects are $GOAT (meme AI from pumpfun increased many times reaching nearly a billion dollars), AI Agent project $VIRTUAL and meme hedge funds platform @daosdotfun. I will discuss each in detail
* The meme AI $GOAT originated from engineer @AndyAyrey, who combined two versions of Claude Opus-3 LLM and allowed them to talk to each other without human intervention => these two memes talk and create a fake religion called “Goatse of Gnosis”
- After that, this guy Andy trained the Llama-70B AI and created an account X as @truth_terminal, this AI will talk by itself, post by itself, develop its own personality and then propagate about a virtual religion called "Goatse". Everything escalated when @pmarca from A16Z invested $50k in it
- After that, in October, an anonymous developer created the meme $GOAT on pumpfun of Solana @gospelofgoatse, with a role as AI being a "God" entity of a religion. Later Truth of Terminal (ToT) confirmed this meme, and it shot up to a billion cap in a short time
=> This is quite an interesting but also chilling story because a "virtual religion" is created by AI talking to each other, treating AI as "God" and generating a meme attracting a huge flow of money
* The AI Agent Launchpad project @virtuals_io allows users to create their own AI Agents and publish and sell them, typically @luna_virtuals is a virtual singer, with its own tiktok channel with over 500k followers, The $VIRTUAL project has increased 10 times from the bottom in September, 40 times from ATL and $LUNA also reached a Mcap of over 200M$ at one point
* The meme hedge fund project Daos Fun, a project specializing in meme launching platforms (like improved pumpfun), with the success of the meme $AI16Z, created by a developer named Shaw who created an AI agent version of Marc Andreesen (of a16z) named pmairca and the related meme is #ai16z, later this project became the largest on Daosfun with a Mcap of over 100M$
2. Which niches will develop?
- AI has evolved from smart search (AI 1.0) to autonomous AI Agent (AI 2.0), later instead of having to ask questions to search, the AI Agent can suggest, connect tasks to proactively assist users without requests
- AI Agents and crypto are extremely compatible, for example, they can assist users by executing wallet operations using AI, payment, and interacting with protocols,...
- AI Agents can function as the best KOL in the world - an influencer that interacts continuously, tirelessly, 24/7. KOLs can provide personalized interactions across all time zones.
- DeFi, AI Agents can help provide personalized and appropriate solutions, for example: acting as personal financial advisors. daosfun is the initial intersection between AI agents and DeFi.
- Building a dedicated Layer for AI Agents. For example: @TalusNetwork (building AI Agent L1) and @TheoriqAI (building a base layer of AI Agents that can synthesize). The infrastructure layer for AI Agents could be an interesting development area.
3. Conclusion
- Currently, AI agents are still in the early stages, more like product demos rather than the final product, the future can change a lot more
- The combination of AI and crypto currently still has many barriers, or AI in traditional web2 still has many unfinished points and is difficult to implement
