Italian singer Violetta Zironi said that musicians are struggling to earn a decent living from music streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music. However, she said that blockchain could solve this problem.
Musicians claim that they only get US$0.00318 or Rp50 per play on Spotify. In this case, the Bitcoin blockchain is here to help musicians get their proper income back.
Zironi said that musicians now have an alternative to uploading their work on the NFT (non-fungible token) blockchain. He said that the technology not only protects the rights of his work, but also helps Zironi earn better income.
“Blockchain provides a permanent, incorruptible record for creators and collaborators of a musical work. This ensures that artists receive appropriate revenue and can clearly prove ownership,” said Music Producer Jim Crane.
