Lawsuits with the SEC over the past 4 years have cost crypto companies $400 million

Over the past four years, organizations that are part of the U.S. Blockchain Association have faced significant legal costs of approximately $400 million during litigation with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

With Gary Gensler's arrival as chairman of the SEC, oversight of the cryptocurrency market has intensified, leading to an increase in lawsuits. Among the companies most affected are Ripple, Coinbase, Crypto.com, Grayscale, and Kraken.

Experts believe that the actual costs may be even higher, as the SEC actively pursues market participants.

A survey conducted by the Blockchain Association and HarrisX showed that 60% of American voters are critical of the SEC's policies, viewing them as an obstacle to the development and legalization of cryptocurrencies.
