Yesterday, CZ posted on the X platform: 'I will attend the Binance Blockchain Week held in Dubai from October 30 to 31 as an individual. This is one of the largest Web3 events of the year.'

Binance Blockchain Week is not just a simple conference; it will be held from October 30 to 31, 2024, in Dubai, UAE. The venue is Coca-Cola Arena, one of the largest indoor venues in the Middle East. It gathers traders, builders, founders, institutional investors, regulators, global officials, and innovators to explore and shape the future of blockchain and Web3 technology.

The theme of this conference is 'Momentum'! It focuses on how the blockchain industry continues to develop and achieve significant accomplishments in the face of challenges. The conference will explore important topics such as decentralized finance (DeFi), regulatory dynamics, stablecoins, and Layer-2 solutions.

It is reported that the main sponsors include Celo, MANTRA, THORChain, IOTA, and First Digital.

In my previous article, it was mentioned that on September 27, Zhao Changpeng would first step onto the streets of Long Beach, California as a free man. After CZ's release, he couldn't post the first tweet 'gm', which ignited a wave of enthusiasm online; major KOLs and platforms were expressing their views on the market.

CZ will attend the Binance Blockchain Week in Dubai as an individual, even though he has resigned as CEO of Binance and distanced himself from any 'daily activities' of the company. However, he remains the largest shareholder, and CZ's return gives everyone more confidence, bringing more possibilities for the second half of the crypto industry! Personally, I believe CZ is still the true helmsman of Binance, just like Xu Mingxing, who has shifted from the front to the back stage, protecting himself while not altering the management framework of the exchange. What do you think?

Among the four kings of the crypto world, only CZ has preserved his career.

In the last bull market, the four most active figures in the crypto world were: CZ, SBF, Do Kwon, and Zhu Su. But without exception, they have all been linked to the sewing machine. Every time I think of this, I feel quite emotional. However, circumstances vary.

1. Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) life trajectory: yet presents a completely different direction from CZ.

He is referred to by many as 'Afro'. As the founder of FTX, he gained significant attention due to his cryptocurrency exchange FTX. However, due to FTX's bankruptcy and a series of legal issues, SBF is currently facing serious legal charges and imprisonment, ultimately sentenced to 25 years, with over $11 billion in assets confiscated.

Impact caused: Assuming SBF gets out of prison, it could have a more complex impact on market sentiment. On one hand, his release may indicate that the FTX incident is gradually coming to a conclusion, reducing market uncertainty; on the other hand, due to SBF's fraudulent actions, which brought a severe trust crisis to the market, his release may raise concerns and doubts among some investors.

2. Do Kwon

If you don't know who he is, then when I mention the founder of Luna, you will understand.

Do Kwon established a public chain ecosystem Terra, which mainly operates with these two tokens: one is the Luna token in the Terra ecosystem, and the other is the stablecoin UST existing on the Terra chain. UST and Luna have a 'dual destruction and minting' relationship. This means that when you exchange Luna for UST, there is one less dollar's worth of Luna in the market and one more UST. Conversely, when exchanging UST for Luna, there is one less UST in the market.

If you understand the relationship between the two, then you will understand half of the reason for Luna's crash. In May 2022, many large holders began to sell UST, causing the price of Luna to plummet by more than 90%, dropping to $10, and UST completely de-pegged, falling to $0.6. On May 13, many exchanges delisted Luna and suspended trading; the Terra public chain went offline.

The 'Luna flash crash incident' that once shook the entire crypto world has finally reached its conclusion. On June 14, the Southern District Court of New York approved a settlement agreement between the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the cryptocurrency company Terraform Labs, along with CEO Do Kwon, the main developer of Luna. The content roughly states that Do Kwon must pay a $4.5 billion fine to the SEC, of which Do Kwon bears part of the responsibility and has joint liability. He may also face a series of penalties, including a ban from the industry.

Impact caused: The LUNA black swan event, the 'Moutai of the crypto world' project, triggered a major crisis in the decentralized finance (DeFi) sector, causing a far-reaching impact on the market.

3. Zhu Su

Co-founder of Three Arrows Capital, arrested in September 2023 for failing to comply with court orders during liquidation investigations and sentenced to 4 months.

After Ethereum's downturn for a period, he posted that he had sold 50% of his TAO, SUI, and POPCAT tokens to switch to ETH, optimistic about the future.

Although the four have different realms and 'treatments',

CZ preserved his career; Zhu Su can still be active on social media; Do Kwon and SBF are the worst off, having lost everything. Everyone has learned lessons during this cycle, remaining low-key and hidden, hence we see no heroic figures.

Crypto world contributor, why is CZ called the 'chief disciple of preaching'?

Everyone has their own ranking in their hearts regarding contributions to the crypto world:

First, it must be the mysterious Satoshi Nakamoto.

Since the advent of Bitcoin, the identity of its creator 'Satoshi Nakamoto' has remained one of the greatest mysteries of the internet era. Although the HBO documentary ultimately gives the feeling that everyone is Satoshi.

Secondly, there is Vitalik Buterin, the creator of smart contracts.

On Tuesday, Tyler Cowen and Alex Tabbarok discussed their predictions for candidates for the upcoming Nobel Prize in Economics. He believes that unlike any economist he can think of, Buterin 'actually did some things in monetary economics' and contributed to 'cryptocurrency theory'.

Thirdly, there is CZ.

The greatest achievement was not creating Binance. Without Binance, there would still be OKX, Coinbase, and countless CEXs would be born. CZ's contribution lies in a spirit of crypto, a pioneer in the industry. Satoshi Nakamoto is the god of creation; CZ must be the chief disciple of preaching.

Big things are on the way...

The news of former Chinese billionaire CZ regaining his freedom undoubtedly stirred up a storm in the crypto world, but this event can lead the crypto world to a turning point. It awakens optimism in the market. It may trigger profound reflections and heated discussions about compliant operations in the industry, but the path to compliance is not smooth; it requires the accumulation of time and relentless effort.

The man has really returned! The Binance sister will also attend; she replied to Zhao Changpeng's tweet, saying, 'See you then.'
