Personally speaking, after reading the white papers of many projects, I find that the underlying logic of many consensus mechanisms is just a new one. As far as POS is concerned, many consensus mechanisms are based on changes in POS, such as the POC consensus mechanism of NULS. That's it. It's not as big as the difference between POS and POW. They are two completely different things from the bottom up.
