📈 Senior market expert analysis: Why is XRP so different this time?
Well-known cryptocurrency analyst EGRAG recently expressed his views, pointing out that the current market cycle is very different from the past, especially in the XRP price trend, which shows an unprecedented pattern.
EGRAG deeply analyzed XRP's performance in the current cycle and compared it with the behavior of previous bull cycles. He said on social media that the seventh-ranked crypto asset is brewing a different price trend.
🔹 XRP shows a new trend: EGRAG's insights
The market expert reviewed the timing and peak patterns of XRP's historical prices and pointed out that XRP completely broke these established rules in this cycle. He cited data from the Average Sentiment Oscillator (ASO) to reveal the different performance of XRP in the past two typical cycles.
In the first cycle, XRP hit a new all-time high within 300 days of hitting the bottom, a trend that was particularly evident in the bull cycle from 2017 to 2018, when XRP’s price soared to $3.84. In the second cycle, although the uptrend cycle was shortened to 150 days, XRP still reached a new high of $1.96 after 580 days of price adjustment.
However, EGRAG pointed out that since XRP ended its 580-day price bottoming in November 2023, it has been 300 days, but the currency has not shown strong upward momentum like the previous two cycles, and it seems out of reach whether it reaches a new high or refreshes the historical record.
🔹 Analysts admit: Indicators are complicated
In addition to price patterns, EGRAG also mentioned that the current indicators that determine XRP’s subsequent price trend are also confusing. He shared his latest situation of monitoring market sentiment using the average sentiment oscillator (ASO) indicator, and the results showed that investor sentiment has not formed a clear trend.
