#IntroToCopytrading NACP head Viktor Pavlushchik in an interview with Glavkom noted the growing popularity of digital assets among Ukrainian officials and spoke about ways to track crypto assets.
"Every year, the amount of funds declared in cryptocurrencies increases. They are used by both the general population and government officials. If a few years ago no one knew about them, now it is the same type of savings as cash or funds in bank accounts. Cryptocurrencies are tracked through blockchain tools," he said.
According to the head of NAPC, the agency also recorded violations of the use of digital assets. For example, the deputy head of the regional service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Nikolaev region declared cryptocurrency in the amount of 100 million UAH, but could not prove its presence.
"I have been personally monitoring the declarations since the very first year of the registry's creation. I submitted them myself, being a NABU detective, and I remember what it was like: looking for loopholes at night to get into this registry so as not to lose data. Now we have a completely different situation: the registry of declarations has not been switched off for a second, in particular, during the time that I have been working at NACP," Pavlushchik noted.
