The Arbitrum community recently proposed a new proposal that would transfer 220 million ARB from the Game Catalyst Program (GCP) multi-signature wallet to the Arbitrum DAO treasury. The reason behind this proposal is the concern of community members that GCP has failed to fulfill its oversight responsibilities and the security risks of the 3/5 multi-signature wallet that controls $120 million in funds. Currently, GCP's operations are progressing slowly and have not met its set transparency and oversight commitments, which has further increased community concerns. According to the proposal, only 3.65 million ARB will be retained for GCP to continue operating until further funding is required from governance.
