Binance Labs, the venture capital arm and incubator of Binance, has invested in aPriori, a project focused on liquid staking solutions based on miner extractable value (MEV) that runs on Monad, a high-performance Layer 1 smart contract platform compatible with Ethereum.
aPriori’s mission is to decentralize the Monad network and improve the user experience by reducing gas fees, optimizing network traffic, and providing sustainable incentives to validators. Monad achieves its extremely high performance through its fast finality and deferred execution, which create a design environment that offers new possibilities but also presents new challenges. In response, the aPriori team designed from the ground up a completely new architecture for VME and Liquid Staking Tokens (LST) to maximize the performance of this next-generation parallel MVE.
The new funding round will enable aPriori to expand its team, accelerate its research and development efforts, strengthen its security protocols, and advance its efforts to optimize blockchain performance to handle widespread adoption.
“Binance Labs is honored to support aPriori’s vision to pioneer VME-based liquid staking solutions. We are constantly looking for early-stage projects with significant potential. This investment reaffirms our commitment to supporting forward-thinking projects that are creating the next wave of blockchain innovation, and we look forward to seeing how aPriori redefines the space,” said Yi He, Co-Founder of Binance and Head of Binance Labs.
“aPriori is developing a liquid staking platform powered by VME that scales on Monad. We are excited to have the support of Binance Labs to innovate and bring online new products specifically designed for high-speed parallel VME networks,” said Ray, CEO of aPriori.
aPriori participated in the sixth season of the Binance Labs incubation program.
