After being released from prison in the United States, Zhao Changpeng (CZ), the former richest Chinese and founder of Binance, posted his first message to the cryptocurrency community on Twitter on Sunday (September 29) after his return. In the subsequent content, he stated that he will continue to invest in technologies such as blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI), and devote more energy to charity and education.

Zhao Changpeng wrote: "Good morning everyone (GM), the food tastes great. It's a luxury to be able to eat more than one piece of fruit every day."

“I know some of you probably have a lot of questions, and I’m not going to have all the answers.”

"Let me calm down and figure out the next step."

But he stressed: "There are always more opportunities in the future than in the past, and I want to thank everyone for their support. It means a lot to me and keeps me strong in my darkest moments."

Looking ahead, he sent out an important signal: "Some quick updates/thoughts, Giggle Academy is progressing well and will become an important part of my life in the next few years."

At the end of March, Zhao Changpeng mentioned that he was actively promoting the new education project Giggle Academy, and all team members implemented remote work mode. On March 19, Zhao Changpeng announced the launch of the education project Giggle Academy, which aims to provide free basic education for students from grade 1 to grade 12. The core concepts include gamified learning experience and adaptive education mechanism, and it is not for profit.

In terms of details, GiggleAcademy chose not to develop a web version first, but instead prioritized the development of an application for the Android system because in the target market, Android devices are often the first choice for families before getting a laptop computer, and the touch screen function and push notifications of Android phones are more friendly to child users.

Traders are keeping a close eye on Zhao Changpeng's return to Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, but it should be emphasized that Zhao Changpeng was permanently banned from holding leadership positions at Binance as a condition of his settlement with the U.S. Department of Justice. This means that Zhao Changpeng will not be able to return to his position as Binance CEO after his release from prison, as investors hoped.

Zhao Changpeng continued: “I will continue to invest in blockchain/decentralized technology, AI, and biotech. I am a long-term investor who cares about impact, not returns.”

“I will also be devoting more time and money to philanthropy (and education). I have some rough ideas and am still working on my book. I think I’m about 2/3 done. Writing a book is a lot more work than I expected, but I’m going to keep at it.”

He finally mentioned: “Oh, Binance looks like the company is doing well without my supervision, which is great. This is every founder’s dream, so stay tuned.”

He finally hinted that a new round of meetings would be held. “See you at the meeting,” he said.
