Tesla maintains its investment in Bitcoin

(BTC) at 9,720 BTC in the third quarter, according to the company's new earnings report released Wednesday.

- The quarterly report did not mention Bitcoin, which means the company did not buy or sell BTC in the three months leading up to September.

- The assets are worth $275.4 million at the current market price of $28,300.

- Tesla, led by cryptocurrency proponent Elon Musk, invested $1.5 billion in Bitcoin in February 2021, amassing about 43,000 tokens.

- Tesla ranks third among public companies in terms of investment in Bitcoin, behind MicroStrategy and Marathon Digital Holdings.
