According to TechFlow, the cross-chain interoperability platform Wormhole announced today that Google Cloud has joined its Guardian Network. As a Guardian node, Google Cloud's infrastructure will enhance the security of the decentralized network, ensure the normal operation of the system and provide verification redundancy coverage.

In addition to joining the Guardian Network, the two parties will also accelerate Wormhole’s ZK roadmap and optimize multi-chain security. The focus of the cooperation includes strengthening fast, low-cost and trustless cross-chain message verification, and studying the addition of a trustless ZK verification mechanism outside of Wormhole Guardian.

Google Cloud will also participate in the Wormhole "Sigma" Hackathon in the fall of 2024, providing AI and Web3 expertise to participants.
