The Evolution of Polygon's Blockchain.

Several months ago, Polygon announced a major update that will set a new precedent for its Blockchain.

What is it about? Well, it was announced that there will be a change that consists of the transition from its native token MATIC to POL.

But this goes beyond a simple name change, since several highly relevant adjustments will also be made to its network.

Do you want to know what changes are coming?

âžĄïž New token: The native token MATIC will now be called Pol

âžĄïž Increased scalability: The network will be much faster and more efficient as it will allow a greater number of transactions to be processed per second.

âžĄïž Interoperability: This will allow for greater integration with other blockchains, resulting in easier transfers of assets between different networks.

âžĄïž Greater security: New security measures will be implemented to protect user funds.

Although these changes promise a lot, the price of $MATIC is currently falling.

What could be the reason? Because many frequent users of this Blockchain consider having to exchange tokens to be tedious.

Even so, there is great optimism regarding this update.

What do you think? What does the future hold for Polygon?
