After the Stacks upgrade, the block time is 5 seconds, which was 10 minutes before, and the performance has increased by 120 times.
Advantages of STX:
1. It does not bridge assets through cross-chain bridges, but broadcasts them to the BTC network to ensure that they cannot be tampered with. It is more reliable than chains such as Merlin.
2. It supports BTC atomic swaps. BTC addresses can own and move assets defined on the Stacks layer, such as STX, stablecoins, and NFTs, and transfer them through BTC L1 transactions.
