According to Zombit’s previous reports, foreign media CoinDesk disclosed in a report that EigenLayer employees sent an “address list” to pressure external project parties in order to receive airdrops of millions of magnesium tokens. This incident sparked discussion in the community.
In response to this matter, Matan Sibon, the founder of EigenLayer ecological project eOracle, questioned this report.

Matan said that CoinDesk’s deputy editor Sam Kessler contacted him last week for an interview in the name of a “rehypothecation technical article.” However, during the interview, Sam Kessler kept steering the topic to "whether the Eigen Labs team has ever pressured ecological projects to airdrop tokens to them." Although Matan repeatedly denied it, pointing out that he believed Altlayer, Renzo, and Ether.fi It is unlikely that other projects were pressured, but these responses did not appear in CoinDesk’s report.
Matan tweeted:
“It’s one thing to expose a conflict of interest, but it’s another thing to accuse a team of abusing its power to pressure other projects in the ecosystem to “profit.” It would be commendable for Sam Kessler and CoinDesk to retract these accusations or provide evidence of pressure. "

Additionally, Mudit Gupta said that if any reporter really wants to investigate this, just launch a fake new DEX and contact the BD team at a different Layer1/Layer2 to experience it for themselves.
