According to the monitoring of Cyvers Alerts on August 15, on August 13, 2024, multiple suspicious transactions involving Vow were discovered, revealing a carefully planned hacker attack. The attacker deployed the malicious contract 112 days ago and successfully executed two attack transactions on August 13, resulting in the theft of 175 ETH, 595,970 USDT and 5,801,632 VOW, with a total loss of millions of US dollars.

It is reported that the attacker initially laundered money through Tornado Cash and used its anonymity to hide the flow of funds. Since then, the attacker has continued to deposit part of the funds back into Tornado Cash, has transferred 50 ETH, and currently still retains 402 ETH on its address.
