Today, the most popular crypto wallet MetaMask announced that US users will be able to purchase ETH via PayPal.
This new feature provides MetaMask users with a seamless checkout experience similar to online retail giants such as Amazon and eBay. Simply by logging into PayPal in the MetaMask application, users can easily purchase and transfer ETH.
“This integration with PayPal will allow our US users to not only seamlessly purchase crypto through MetaMask, but also easily explore the Web3 ecosystem,” said Lorenzo Santos, MetaMask Product Manager.
Initially, the feature will be available to select PayPal users in the U.S. However, the feature will be available to a wider U.S. audience in the coming weeks.
This integration is a big step forward in bridging the traditional financial world with the crypto space. PayPal has a user base of 430 million in the United States, and this partnership enables MetaMask to help millions of people enter the crypto economy.
