Are altcoins still worth investing in?
Some people claim: "The alt season is over." This statement is always made every time the altcoins plummet, but in fact the alt season always reappears, which usually marks the turning point of the bull market reaching the bubble stage.
In each bull market cycle, large-cap currencies tend to rise first: "Bitcoin, Ethereum, and then platform coins." New narratives and concepts replace old narratives and concepts. Although the new narrative has not yet fully emerged, it usually appears in the late stage of the bull market. However, this is not like DeFi, Dogecoin, or the Metaverse in the past.
Finally, it is the turn of the old altcoins, and the old currencies begin to move forward in unison. In the last one or two months of the bull market, they may quickly soar several times to a high point, and then enter a bear market and decline.
Binance Coin has broken through a new high, so are altcoins still worth investing in?
My answer is yes, the key is to "control the position ratio" and use a fixed position ratio for investment.
Currently, Bitcoin is down 12%, Ethereum is down 14%, and altcoins are generally down about 50%. Many people made money on Bitcoin and Ethereum, so they thought that the breakthrough of Binance Coin marked the coming of the altcoin season, so they turned to investing in altcoins, hoping to get a higher rate of return. However, their profits have been drastically withdrawn, and they may even lose all their principal and interest.
Altcoins can still be invested, but always remember: "Keep a small position, a fixed ratio, and avoid heavy investment."
You can choose to invest in a small position, but you must control the loss!
