Sony plans to restart cryptocurrency exchange Whalefin, which it acquired from crypto lender Amber Group last year.

Wu Blockchain reported the deal earlier, and Block.one later disclosed the details.

On Monday, Whalefin announced that its parent company Amber Japan will be renamed S.BLOX. The announcement also said that the company was acquired by Sony's Quetta Web in August 2023. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. #3friends #sony
