The DePIN sector of the crypto market is entering a “super cycle” and will show significant growth. Crypto researcher Emperor Osmo (70.9 thousand subscribers in X) came to this conclusion in a series of posts.

Note that according to #Coingecko, the capitalization of this segment of the crypto market is currently only $22.9 billion. 

Emperor Osmo believes that the DePIN sector is already experiencing rapid growth, and large companies such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Cloudflare require efficient scaling. It is facilitated by the development of artificial intelligence.

Let us remind you that DePIN stands for Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks, a union of decentralized networks that use blockchain technologies to manage physical infrastructure. These networks allow users to jointly own and operate real-world assets, such as data centers, energy networks or telecommunications towers, without the need for centralized intermediaries. DePIN brings transparency, security and efficiency to the management of physical resources, creating a new paradigm for traditional infrastructure industries.

Emperor Osmo is extremely optimistic about the prospects of this segment and has already named projects that are worth paying attention to:

“The DePIN super cycle is coming. We are entering a golden age where Web3 projects are significantly accelerating the growth of Web 2.0 platforms. I'm betting on protocols that transcend these boundaries and drive the decentralized cloud revolution.

DePin's success will come down to network effects.

Likewise, Web2 giants like Uber and Airbnb have capitalized on their network effects to offer better cost, performance, and scalability.

DePin is an evolution of this model, and we are already starting to see this happen with one protocol in particular."

The analyst places his main bets on such DePIN projects as io.net (IO) and Aethir (ATH). He also calls for attention to a number of DePIN projects that do not yet have tokens and/or are preparing to drop:

- Decentralized cloud smartphone #APhone.

- Modular data layer for artificial intelligence and gaming #CARV.

- Delabs Games (GAME) gaming protocol.

- Ecosystem of decentralized artificial intelligence #Zero1. 

- Level 1 AI network Rivalz Network (RIZ). 

- Blockchain-based zkSync Sophon (SOPH).
