[Ripple partner SBI announces services for World Expo, XRP and NFT become the focus]
Ripple partner SBI Holdings announced on Monday the issuance of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on XRP Ledger, sponsoring the "EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet" project of the 2025 World Expo. The NFT service, called “Myaku N!,” allows users to collect original NFTs through the EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet starting July 1.
SBI Holdings, a partner of Ripple, has begun minting World’s Fair 2025 NFTs on the XRP Ledger. Users can download the Myaku N! digital wallet on iOS and Google platforms to receive Expo 2025 NFTs issued on the XRP Ledger for free. According to the press release, SBI Holdings sponsored the "EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet" project of the 2025 Japan World Expo and launched the EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet NFT service, limited to 500 users.
These NFTs are for commemorative purposes only and cannot be transferred or resold. SBI's cryptocurrency trading business SBI VC Trade and NFT business SBINFT plan to provide this service to the 28.2 million people expected to visit the 2025 World Expo Osaka, Kansai Expo. After October 13, 2025, these NFTs will no longer be visible and the company will terminate the digital wallet application service after the expo.
These NFTs can be viewed instantly on the XRPL explorer Bithomp, and users can collect NFTs according to the reward criteria of the "MyakuMyaku Reward Program". Users can improve the status of NFT by participating in expo activities such as the stored value expo electronic currency "Myakupe!" to obtain more rewards.
Additionally, SBI announced additional gifts, draws and prizes, including the “Myakumyakupon!” gift campaign. The focus on XRP and NFTs will help increase the reach and adoption of these crypto-related technologies. Ripple and SBI Holdings have partnered to launch a variety of solutions, including supply chain, new remittance channels and mobile payments app MoneyTap.
