🔥What is the fastest Blockchain today?
Coingecko Research has published a list of the fastest blockchains at #ecosistema #cripto , measured by fast transactions per second (TPS).
#Solana continues to lead with the highest TPS among all existing blockchains on #mercado so far, with an average transactions per second (TPS) of 1,053. This fact comes right in the middle of the memecoin phenomena.
According to the study Solana is 46 times faster than #Ethereum and 5 times faster than Polygon.
Not everything is positive on the Solana network, as we have recently seen congestion on the network, affecting users. With the new update that is coming, it is hoped that they can fix these problems.
The second on the list that has been attracting a lot of attention is SUI, with an average of 854 TPS. In third place we have the Binance Smat Chain (BSC) with 378.3 TPS, reaching less than half the processing speed performed by SUI.
Another fact worth highlighting are the L2s that have recently come to market such as Línea, Starknet and Base, which still do not show high performance in TPS.
