This test was conducted directly by Microsoft, providing a convenient way for users to check their internet speeds without navigating away from Bing search results.

Before this integration, users wanting to know their internet speeds had to perform a Bing search for a speed test, then navigate to any result to initiate the test. The local speed test integration streamlined the process, enabling users to discover their internet speeds without leaving the Bing search results page.

Microsoft has now made a surprising decision to replace its proprietary speed test service with Ookla's Speedtest.net, a widely used service for analyzing internet performance. The new speed test is available on the Bing search engine worldwide, accessible by simply typing "hız testi" (speed test) into the search bar.

Upon performing the related search, users will immediately see the speed test within the search results page. Clicking the Start button initiates the test, and users can view download and upload speeds along with latency, similar to the previous Microsoft widget.

Users who want a more accurate measurement of their internet service provider's speed can repeat the test as many times as needed.

Ookla's Speedtest.net, launched in 2006, is widely used with 18M daily tests and 51B tests globally. With 16K servers, it's accessible on various platforms, including Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, and more. Ookla offers VPN services for iOS and Android at $4.99/month. Now integrated into Bing, it's a trusted tool for testing internet speeds.
