#ScamRiskWarning SOME COMMON SCAM TACTICS IN BINANCE SQUARE TO BEWARE - part 1 Theme: Tip Scams Binance square is a great platform for all kinds of crypto and web 3 news and lessons. However , many scammers have find their way into the platform especially since it was opened to all. Though I have not been scammed on Binance square , but with my experiences in the crypto industry, I have come across a lot of fraudulent posts which aim at scamming uninformed individuals . The safety of @Binance Square Official community is very important to me. so read carefully not to fall victim. SCAM TACTICS ! 1. Fake Airdrop!! Just like the last cases where fraudulent creators posted PEPE airdrop: Tip $1 for $10 rewards , tip $10 to get $100 , tip $100 to get $1000, What ? Is the creator a money doubler ? a magician ? what is his gain? No, don't tell me it is philanthropic gesture because it is a pure scam!! No genuine airdrop will require you to Tip a creator before you qualify 📌 Avoid such post at all cost. 2. Fake philanthropist !! I have also come across posts like, I want to share $500, $1000, $10000, $20,000 etc to my community . All you need to do is Tip me at least $1 to qualify for the distribution . I have a lot of money and I just want to share! what ? You have a lot of money that you want to share to your community and you still ask them to tip you ? Are you okay ? This is totally fake and scam because after tipping , you won't receive a dime ! Avoid them! Wait for part 2 soon . We shall expose them all 💪 Meanwhile , If you have been a victim , use the comment section to briefly tell us how you got scammed so that others will also learn from your experience. GOOD LUCK 🤞

Here comes the Final judgement for our Legend @CZ He was sentenced to 4 months imprisonment and here is why The sentence was imposed by United States District Judge Richard Jones in Seattle, who rejected prosecutors’ request that CZ serve a three-year term. I am glad that even though he doesn't deserve any sentence at all, but at least he got a fair sentence duration. Our love, well wishes and support for #FreeCZ definitely contributed to this. #ScamRiskWarning MY ONE AND ONLY P2P SCAM EXPERIENCE ! @Binance p2p is relatively safe compared to some other exchanges. However, it is not entirely free from scammers! HERE IS MY SCAM EXPERIENCE : It was in 2019 when I was still very fresh in the crypto market , I wanted to sell some stable coins via p2p, when I placed the order, the buyer told me that it was a company's account and they only pay after releasing the coin. As a novice in the game then, I trusted him blindly and released the coin expecting payment from him. unfortunately , he was actually a scammer so he didn't pay me. I tried calling his phone number but I was blocked! Then I discovered I was scammed! To prevent accidentally or ignorantly loosing of your fund during P2P transactions, apply these precautions below : 1. Place buy/sell p2p orders ONLY from Binance p2p verified merchants 2. Check the 30 days completion rate of the merchant - It is best if it is not below 90% 3. Compare the positive and negative feedbacks from his counterparts 4. Check total trades of the merchant- the higher the better with good corresponding feedbacks 5. Then when you finally placed a sell order, 🚫 don't be a victim of Proof of Payment (POP), ensure you got the correct amount in your account before releasing the coin. Moreover , 🚫 *Don't tap on "Payment Received" area if you haven't and don't be fooled into releasing your crypto before payment 🚭 no matter what the buyer said to you 📌 6. If you are the buyer in p2p, please make sure to have a stable network so that you won't have any issues when trying to click on "I have paid " You must click on I have made payment , and wait for the seller to release the coin, otherwise , the system will cancel the trade after the trade countdown believing that you didn't pay.
