According to BlockBeats, on July 18, cross-chain bridge protocol LI.FI announced on social media that it has launched a voluntary compensation plan. Users are advised to be vigilant when receiving emails to avoid phishing attacks. The protocol emphasized that it will not request users to connect their wallets or click on any links in emails, except for those related to the identity verification process.

Previously, on July 19, BlockBeats reported that LI.FI released a hacker incident report. The report revealed that a 'personal human error' during a smart contract update led to the protocol being attacked by malicious actors. Approximately 153 wallets were affected, resulting in the loss of nearly $12 million worth of USDC, USDT, and DAI stablecoins.
