Community, we’re happy to open a new chapter of our journey and finally introduce Prom mainnet and everything that we’re preparing in the path ahead of us. Our testnet was truly a great journey that set the base for further development.

Time for a big update regarding our network further expansion, current state of Delegate and Validator campaigns, reward distribution, and inner workings of our future DAO.

Chapter 1: Prom Network & Ecosystem Growth

Prom Network: Intensive Growth

In the near foreseeable future, our team will intensively focus on network infrastructure enhancements to bring you a better on-chain experience.

We’re planning to extend the support of new networks and bridges for convenient cross-chain interactions, and work on performance of Prom as a network, further exploring the capabilities of our tech stack, and improving the infrastructure.

Prom Ecosystem: Extensive Growth

As for our ecosystem expansion, we continue the support of the first products built on Prom and looking forward to integrating new ones into the ecosystem. We’re set to bring a robust framework for products requiring an effective solution as a homebase, and will introduce a round of support mechanisms for ambitious teams of builders, including grants. We will gradually reveal more information on that vector of our development.

Following the quite successful path of Rekt.me mini-app launch, we will also continue the exploration of the Telegram features for crypto products and will further support projects using the mini-app twist as a user acquisition bridge.

As for Rekt.me and V60, the frontrunners of our ecosystem that you’ve already met, Prom continues fully supporting them. We will help teams work on the next product updates, including incentive campaigns and potential native platforms’ token launches.

Chapter 2: Delegate & Validator Campaigns Finalization

Prom DAO Delegate Campaign

If you participated in the Delegate campaign, here are the main things you need to remember to prepare for the reward distribution:

1.If you’re following our announcements, you already know that the snapshot of testnet points accumulated throughout the campaign is already taken.

2. On November 28th, we will additionally launch Claim Portal. Claim portal is a special native platform used to ensure a convenient and swift reward distribution for testnet/DAO Delegate Campaign participants.

3. During two weeks after the Claim Portal launch, all testnet participants will have a final opportunity to boost their snapshotted testnet points by performing a list of new on-chain tasks using Claim Portal (tasks will be different from the main campaign).

4. At the end of these two weeks, the testnet points will be finalized. Your total point count affecting the reward distribution will be the following: points from the main testnet campaign + bonuses earned via Claim Portal.

5. After the additional two-week period, you will be able to claim your reward using the Claim Portal. To claim the reward, you will only need a small amount of $PROM to cover the gas fee.

Please note, that this is an intro to Claim Portal: we will publish a detailed dedicated guide right before the launch of the portal for you to understand all the nuances.

What About Prom DAO Validator Campaign?

If you participated in the Validator Campaign, your user journey will be a bit different, but nothing to be scared of:

Snapshot of DAO Validator points will be carried out on December 12th. In this case, snapshot means securing final positions and points based on the Zealy leaderboard. On the same day we will announce the final list of DAO Validators, again, based on the final Zealy leaderboard.

Before that date, you are free to continue completing Validator tasks on our Zealy space. We will let you know the exact time of the snapshot on our socials.

2) Unlike Delegates, participants of DAO Validator campaign don’t have to take any additional actions on Claim Portal covered above to claim the reward.

The process of claiming the Validator role is different: on the day of announcing the final list of DAO Validators, we will also launch a Governance Portal (the main platform for all DAO members). If you make it into the list of campaign leaders, you become eligible to share 2% of the network’s fees with other Validators and get an official role in our DAO, which will become active with the launch of the Governance portal.

We will cover all the technical details regarding the Governance Portal on our Medium, so if you have any questions: keep tracking our announcements.

What About Rewards From Prom Button Game?

For both Delegates and Validators who tried their luck in the Prom Button Game: stay tuned. We will reveal full guided info on how to claim your well-deserved lucky awards soon.

Chapter 3: Launch of Prom DAO

Network Fees Rewards

As you all remember, both Delegates and Validators benefit from the network fees for their activity within the DAO.

Straight after the mainnet launch, the fees reward mechanism will start functioning in the following way:

  1. From November 21st, the date of the mainnet launch, total network fees will start being counted: that’s the starting point on what Validators/Delegates rewards will be based.

  2. During the first month after the mainnet launch, you will be able to track the amount of the total network fees using the specific public address that we will announce on our platforms.

  3. A month after the mainnet launch, we will launch an additional portal for Delegates and Validators for a more convenient tracking of your rewards for activity based on total amount of fees.

  4. The claim of rewards based on network fees will become available with the launch of Portal for Delegates and Validators. To claim the rewards you will need a small amount of $PROM to cover the gas fee.

Governance Portal & Role of Delegates and Validators

We’ve already mentioned the Governance Portal in the article and we will further publish a detailed article for you to understand the inner workings of the DAO, but for general understanding, here’s a brief description of the main DAO portal.

Governance Portal is the Prom DAO itself used for community governance, community votings and proposal publishings. Delegate and Validator roles give you additional responsibility as a DAO member and you will need to maintain your status being an active contributor to the life of the network.

Governance Portal will be launched 2 weeks after the Claim Portal launch, alongside with the claim of Delegate rewards and announcement of the DAO Validators list.

In the next articles we will cover the operational details of the Governance Portal, how community participation will look like, and what you need to consider as a Delegate/Validator.

Chapter 4: List of Steps for Delegates/Validators

We understand that it might be a bit hard for you to follow up all the upcoming events, so to solidify everything, here’s a shortened version of all the steps you need to take as a Delegate/Validator to prepare for the mainnet launch and the list of the main events:
