Magic Eden plans to expand this list to 10 by the end of the year and is preparing to add support for the tier-1 #blockchain Monad as soon as the test network is launched.
The announcement comes just days after ApeChain, a Tier 1 blockchain developed by Yuga Labs and powered by ApeCoin, launched its network. According to Sunday's announcement, ApeChain launched its mainnet with more than 360,000 transactions and 1,204 contracts deployed, driving the price of ApeCoin to its highest level since April. Since then, the token's price has fallen to $1.31, down more than 15% in the past 24 hours.
The BeraChain ecosystem, meanwhile, consists of three main tokens - BEX, BGT and Honey. The liquidity proof-of-concept blockchain raised $100 million in a Series B funding round announced in April.
According to Sealaunch's Dune Analytics dashboard, Solana and Bitcoin ranked first in terms of transaction volume on the Magic Eden platform, with 42.8 percent and 42 percent, respectively, in October.
