Investment firm Monochrome Asset Management (MAM) filed for a Bitcoin Spot ETF in April, which was quickly approved by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.
The Monochrome Bitcoin ETF will begin trading on the Cboe Australia exchange tomorrow under the ticker IBTC.
Prior to IBTC, Australian investors could only invest in ETFs that indirectly held Bitcoin or through foreign Bitcoin products, neither of which benefited from Australia's investor protection rules.
Since the U.S. #SEC opened the door to #Bitcoin Spot ETFs earlier this year, many countries around the world have become more receptive to crypto ETFs, including the UK, Hong Kong, and most recently, Australia.

According to data from #CryptoQuant more than 3 billion USD worth of ETH has been withdrawn from exchanges following the approval of the ether ETF. Currently, only 10.6% of the total ETH supply remains on exchanges, the lowest level in many years.

Michael Nadeau, an analyst at DeFi Report, stated that unlike Bitcoin miners who often need to sell BTC to cover costs, Ethereum validators do not need to do this, which helps reduce selling pressure on #ETH

➡️ #BTC is still sideways in the support zone of 66.5k~67.5k, with price movements relatively uncomfortable waiting for the monthly candle close. At this point, there's a high possibility that #BTC will continue sideways here, awaiting a positive reaction to retest the price zone around ~71k. However, the scenario of #BTC returning to the ~65k price zone is still possible, and this is a relatively sensitive price zone to observe for trading plans in the near future.

➡️ #ETH is still looking quite stable, and a test of the ~4.1k price zone remains very feasible. If the ~3.7k price zone cannot hold, the next support level for the bullish side will be around ~3.5k.
