Soccer legend Cristiano Ronaldo and Binance have launched another NFT collection. The pair call this collection ‘Forever Worldwide: The Road to Saudi Arabia,’ and it reportedly captures Ronaldo’s journey from his early days in Madeira to his current status as a global soccer icon.

The NFTs give insights into the key locations in Ronaldo’s career. The collection includes places like Madeira, Lisbon, Manchester, Madrid, Turin, Saudi Arabia, and Portugal. Artists with personal ties to these locations have created designs for each NFT.

Drop 1 Is Madeira, Lisbon, and Manchester
Ronaldo expressed his excitement about the collaboration, highlighting the personal significance of each location in his journey. He stated:
Each place in ‘Forever Worldwide: The Road to Saudi Arabia’ means a lot to me personally and I can’t wait for fans to see my career’s big moments through this special artwork collection.
The first drop of the NFT collection started on May 29, featuring artwork from Madeira, Lisbon, and Manchester. Portuguese artists Katt Phatt and Rodrigo Doin created pieces representing Madeira and Lisbon. Their artwork captures the beginning of Ronaldo’s football journey. Manchester artist John Sheehan contributed a piece reflecting Ronaldo’s rise in Manchester.

Sarah Dale, Head of Brand Partnerships at Binance, emphasized the importance of this collection. “Cristiano Ronaldo’s incredible journey from humble beginnings to football legend has not only inspired fans around the world but has brought all of us along that incredible ride,” she said.
Drop 2 Is Madrid, Turin, and Saudi Arabia
The second drop, launching on June 6, includes artwork representing Madrid, Turin, and Saudi Arabia. Spanish artist Lisett Ledón’s designs reflect Ronaldo’s success in Madrid and celebrate his passion for the Spanish League. Italian artist Pasquale Garibaldi created pieces representing Ronaldo’s legacy in Turin. Saudi artist Shaker Kashgari marks Ronaldo’s latest chapter in Saudi Arabia with his artwork.

In addition to the two main drops, a special limited collection of 7 SSR NFTs will be available later in June. Designed by local artist Mr. Dheo, these NFTs pay homage to Ronaldo’s dedication to Portugal. They will be sold via an online auction from June 14 to 18. Super fans who collect all NFTs in the Drop 2 collection can win one of the SSR NFTs for free by participating in a quiz starting on June 11.
The NFTs are priced at $35 (USD) each, except for the limited SSR NFTs. The collection introduces a ‘Collect to Earn’ mechanism, allowing collectors to earn rewards from their first purchase. Rewards include vintage jerseys, football tickets, signed posters, and the chance to ask Ronaldo questions in a special video.
Holders of the SSR Portugal NFTs will get an exclusive experience with Ronaldo. This includes a trip to Riyadh, a football game ticket, and a personalized goal celebration moment with Ronaldo. Collectors can join the auction on June 14 to bid for this SSR NFT. Users who collect all six other NFT locations and win the SSR Portugal NFT in the quiz will also be part of this experience.
