The developers at MetaMask have introduced a new feature named Smart Transactions, aimed at protecting users from MEV bots and other types of fraud.

Project representatives explained that the main idea involves creating a virtual mempool where transactions will be checked for any deviations.

This approach will prevent the transmission of data to third parties and timely detect automated programs employing so-called "sandwich attacks."
