In March 2011 I bought a 100 #BTC at a price of 1 BTC = $1. Yes, I owned 100 Bitcoins. In the country I was living then people thought I'm crazy, asking me "How can you buy something that you can't actually see, can't put in the pocket", etc. Not one person ever told me I did a good thing. People there are sceptical about cryptocurrencies even now; imagine back then. I myself did not know much about it, I only had a hunch. For me, it was kind of logical that it will be the future, weather others agreed with it or not. For the next few months I was listening them saying they would never do such a crazy thing. Summer came, I was doing other things, forgot about the Bitcoin and not once checked my wallet. Though I had a nice summer time, it was September when I found out that the price of Bitcoin reached about $30 in June. It was a slap in my face, instead of a slap to those who were saying I'm crazy. And then the panic started. I was checking my wallet often, hoping and waiting for the price to increase again, but it was only dropping. I watched it falling to $2, and decided to sell it if it gets to $1. It was like I reluctantly agreed that others were right. What happened is that the price didn't drop to $1, but slightly rise to $4.5 and then I sold it. It was the end of 2011 and me as an owner of 100 Bitcoins. Though I did earn something, it was nothing compared to the price of bitcoin in June, and one huge nothing compared to the price of it in this 2024. Yes, I could have been a millionaire by now. And this is why I'm not: - I told others (who knew nothing about it, and had no intention to learn) what I did - I knew nothing about it - I started panicking at the first price drop - I was letting other opinions to influence my opinion - I sold it too early, like there's no years after 2011 It was The Lesson of my life and I learned it the hard way. But you don't have to. All you need to do is to trust yourself, to listen your first thought, your guts feeling, and not question it. Let me repeat that... LISTEN TO YOUR GUTS ❗❗❗ #Write2Earn

And this is why I'm not:

- I told others (who knew nothing about it, and had no intention to learn) what I did

- I knew nothing about it

- I started panicking at the first price drop

- I was letting other opinions to influence my opinion

- I sold it too early, like there's no years after 2011

It was The Lesson of my life and I learned it the hard way. But you don't have to.

All you need to do is to trust yourself, to listen your first thought, your guts feeling, and not question it.

Let me repeat that...

❗Everyone can get scammed. It can happen in so many ways. Yesterday I watched my #CatCoin balance became 0 in a blink of the eye and I couldn't do anything about it. There was a link in one Telegram group about #BiSwap presale and, though I'm not usually doing that, I clicked the website link and went on their presale page. Very soon I was thinking "okay, I can buy some BiSwap, why not". As expected, there was a "Connect Wallet" button and I approved the connection with my Metamask wallet. Next it said to continue the action in the wallet, so I opened my Metamask wallet only to see my Catcoin tokens balance became zero. Immediately I went to check other networks and found out that my Polygon MATIC was swiped too. Then my heart started to jump; I got adrenaline rush when I went to switch on Ethereum Network, but no.. ETH was still there and still is. How did they missed it, I don't know. Maybe they didn't have enough time before I revoked their connection. I informed Metamask's team and, I must say, they were great. Very fast and helpful, they flagged the address as suspicious, and guided me on what to do next. Thanking them this way too. They told me that if the address requesting connection is classified as an "Account" it indicates that it is malicious, and if the address is classified as a "Contract" it should be legitimate, but still should be checked. Scammers will make everything looks as it supposed to be; token details, website, X, Tg group... Everything. So be careful there guys. Trust your instinct, I ignored my yesterday. It's so easy to get scammed ❗ #CryptoCommunity #BinanceCeloby #ScamRiskWarning
