According to Foresight News, a significant fraud trial has commenced in Nancy, France, involving over 20 defendants accused of deceiving 1,300 victims through fraudulent cryptocurrency and diamond investment schemes. The scam reportedly resulted in the theft of 28 million euros (approximately 30 million dollars).

Investigators have disclosed that the defendants opened 19 bank accounts across 199 countries to facilitate the transfer of funds. So far, around 2.8 million euros have been recovered and are available for compensating the victims.
