The Open Network (TON) is populair over the last few year. The network took a lot of attention because TON’s price has outperformed Bitcoin by 125% year-to-date, and a wave of new projects has launched on the platform.

These new projects were often memecoins like DOGS, or gaming projects like Hamster Kombat. This raises the question whether the network support real value, of just value for such 'speculative' projects.

Today, I want to challenge the argument that TON only hosts meme or gaming projects by examining the most active tokens on the network over the past 30 days.

In the last month, TON's workchain processed 769,605 USDT transactions, making it the most actively transacted token on the network. Catizen follows with 137,531 transactions, and RabBitcoin is third with 75,078. This data highlights that the network is actively used for real USDT transactions and isn’t limited to meme or gaming projects alone.
