Previziunile pentru reducerea ratei dobânzii de către Fed s-au schimbat semnificativ după datele privind ocuparea forței de muncă publicate vineri. Fed, care se pregătește pentru aterizarea moale, se spune acum că este forțată să aterizeze greu.
Potrivit Wall Street Journal, datele privind ocuparea forței de muncă publicate vineri, care au zguduit piețele, au fost principala preocupare a celor care au ghidat politica economică la Washington, iar scenariul pentru economia SUA se inversează. Se precizează că oficialii Fed, care se pregătesc pentru o coborâre moale în acest an, ar putea fi nevoiți să treacă la coborârea dură în lumina celor mai recente date.
Investitorii sunt îngrijorați de posibilitatea ca Fed să întârzie. Un efect al acestui lucru a fost observat și cu scăderi ale schimburilor. Pe de altă parte, în loc de momentul în care Fed va începe să scadă dobânda, s-a început să se discute ce mărime va fi făcută o reducere în septembrie.
Analiștii băncii și-au revizuit și previziunile pentru reducerea ratei dobânzii. Citigroup și JPMorgan se așteaptă ca Fed să reducă cu 50 de puncte de bază în septembrie, 50 în noiembrie și 25 de puncte de bază în decembrie, reducând dobânda cu un total de 125 de puncte de bază înainte de sfârșitul anului.
Decizia privind rata dobânzii de luna viitoare va fi anunțată pe 18 septembrie. Înainte de această întâlnire, datele privind ocuparea forței de muncă pentru luna august vor fi publicate pe 6 septembrie, iar datele despre inflație vor fi publicate pe 11 septembrie.

Scăderile de pe piața criptomonedelor de la începutul săptămânii s-au adâncit în ultima zi a săptămânii. Se crede că mai mult de un factor este eficient în spatele retragerii mari.
