Highlights 🧵:

1/ Paypal announced the expansion of their stablecoin Paypal USD (PYUSD) to Solana for payment use cases. This integration aims to provide faster and cheaper transactions, enhancing the flexibility and control for users by offering multiple blockchain options. Solana's high-speed and low-cost transaction processing makes it ideal for commerce use cases, supporting PYUSD’s goal of revolutionizing digital payments.

2/ Uniswap Foundation announced the initiation of an on-chain vote on May 31, regarding a protocol upgrade enabling fee sharing for UNI token stakers and delegators. Uniswap has collected over US$3.6B in fees since its launch, and the fee switch proposal has been heavily discussed by members of the community.

3/ Sei V2 Mainnet went live on May 27, establishing itself as the first parallelized EVM chain. This upgrade enables EVM compatibility for the Layer 1, which now supports a double execution environment. Following the upgrade, Sei Foundation announced a second community airdrop distributing over 34 million SEI tokens to users in the ecosystem.
