Black Monday The Japanese NIKKEI index had its worst day in history, down 13.5% at one point and 25% off its highs. Several Asian markets chose not to open. Many parallels to 1987. Fear Index VIX: above 50 for the first time since April 2020 (COVID crisis). U.S. futures: nosediving, Nasdaq down 5.2% pre-market. NVIDIA shares: down 12% pre-market. Coinbase and MicroStrategy shares: down 18% pre-market. BTC: dropped below 50k, nearly 20% down in a day. $ETH : no comments needed. Global markets are in chaos, with blood, panic, fear, and a lot of talk about a global margin call triggered by the Japanese trillion-dollar carry trade. #MarketDownturn

Sorry guys, I didn't expect us to fall so far. We've done a pretty good job since 2022, but we've got the timeframe wrong so far. Timing is always super super hard though. Is it all over now? No, I don't think so. Indicators are giving us some signals that we are currently at levels we haven't seen since the covid crash. This is either the biggest buying opportunity in years, or the beginning of a mini bear market. More can be said once we see a weekly close. Market will still remain volatile, so it does NOT mean that this is already the bottom. It may or may not. The important thing is to buy a range, such as in 2022, where we bought at 17k and 16k. In the end, nobody cares whether you hit the bottom exactly, but the range itself. If you are already holding, as I am, then I can only tell you that I will continue to hold and not sell. Moonboys who bought at 70k will always complain, but for those who have been in since 2022, this should just be a correction that should be bearable.

The last time some of my macro charts looked invalidated, we saw a strong recorvery within a very short time (covid crash & FTX crash). btw. Altcoins touched the 0.75 line in the Mayer Multiple, like in 2020 and 2023. Both times it was a bottom range.
