According to Foresight News, NVIDIA has finalized an agreement to acquire Run:ai, a provider of Kubernetes-based workload management and orchestration software. The specific acquisition amount has not been disclosed. NVIDIA plans to temporarily retain the current business model of Run:ai, and the employees of Run:ai will join NVIDIA's research and development center in Israel.
In addition, customers of NVIDIA DGX and DGX Cloud will gain the capabilities provided by Run:ai for their AI workloads, particularly for the deployment of large language models. Currently, Run:ai's solutions have been integrated with products such as NVIDIA DGX, NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD, NVIDIA Base Command, NGC containers, and NVIDIA AI enterprise software.
