Arçelik & YongaTek Partner to Boost Turkey's Tech Scene with Local Chip Design. 🇹🇷
In an exciting move for Turkey's tech industry, leading appliance manufacturer Arçelik and chipmaker YongaTek have joined forces to design domestic chips. This two-year project, backed by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, represents a major step towards reducing Turkey's reliance on foreign technology.
The chips, to be used in a wide range of Arçelik products, are expected to have their first prototypes ready by 2025. This initiative not only showcases Turkey's growing technological capabilities but also promises to strengthen its position in the global market.
Both companies were recently honored at the HIT 30 High Technology Investment Program for their contribution to Turkey's industrial and technological advancement.
