European Union: 🇪🇺Circle Company, the first global stablecoin issuer 💲received an electronic money institution license
Circle, the issuer of USDC 💲 and EURC stablecoins, has become the first global stablecoin issuer to comply with the new European Union (MiCA) rules by receiving an electronic money institution license from the French banking regulator. This license allows Circle to issue its stablecoins in compliance with MiCA regulations in the European Union. Some experts believe that this event can help increase Circle's market share in the European digital currency market.
