How Bitcoin Works

Transactions : Users can send and receive bitcoins using Bitcoin wallet software. Each wallet has a unique address, similar to an email address, where bitcoins can be sent. Transactions are broadcast to the network and collected into blocks.

Verification : Miners compete to solve cryptographic puzzles that verify transactions. The first miner to solve the puzzle gets to add the new block to the blockchain and is rewarded with new bitcoins.

Security : Bitcoin uses cryptographic techniques to secure transactions and control the creation of new units. The network's decentralized nature and consensus mechanism prevent double-spending and fraud.
