In recent market analyses, I seem to have transformed into a 'shorting commander', conducting intensive short analyses on various altcoins. This is not random but based on multi-faceted market observations and logical deductions. Here are several core reasons for my preference for shorting:
1. Market sentiment: Greed is exiting, rationality is returning.
The price fluctuations of altcoins are usually highly correlated with market sentiment. In a bull market, FOMO (fear of missing out) sentiment drives up these cryptocurrencies, but recently we can clearly feel that market sentiment is starting to cool down. As liquidity decreases, investors are turning their attention back to mainstream assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum, while the 'hype halo' of altcoins begins to fade. At this point, shorting altcoins aligns better with changes in market sentiment.
