Not really, but you need to be more strategic. Projects that were considered 'Alpha' (leading opportunities) two months ago are no longer Alpha. The ecosystem of Virtuals has become crowded, and those easily picked 'low-hanging fruits' have long been taken.
What should be done next?
First, don't limit yourself to a single ecosystem. Whether it's Base or Solana, whether it's Virtuals or ai16z, each ecosystem has opportunities worth exploring.
This is not a 'team game,' you don't need to support one ecosystem while denigrating another. Instead, you should look for opportunities wherever there is potential.
For example, I cover a range of ecosystems including Base, Solana, etc., looking for investment opportunities in agents. Although I have a certain preference for Virtuals (often tweeting in support of them), I always maintain an open mind.
The key lies in being adaptable and seeking true value, rather than getting caught up in factional struggles.
How to choose an excellent agent?
A successful agent needs to possess two core elements: uniqueness and practicality. Without practicality, an agent's token is likely to be forgotten after a brief hype like most Meme coins.
An excellent agent must provide actual value, and if the team can master the 'art of attracting attention,' that will be an additional plus:
Craft engaging backstories or brand identities around agents.
Quickly and continuously roll out new features to maintain innovation.
Actively listen to and meet the needs and expectations of the community.
When these factors come together, this agent has the chance to achieve product-market fit (PMF). Teams that can continue to execute and innovate after finding PMF, such as @aixbt_agent, can dominate their niche and become core projects within the entire ecosystem.

On-chain trading has always been a hot topic in the Crypto Twitter (CT) community. We not only love to see someone turn $1,000 into $1,000,000, but we are also attracted by their fighting spirit shown in the process.
The first batch of on-chain trading agents seized this enthusiasm. They focus on portfolio growth and showcase their trading frameworks and strategies in real time. Although this track is still in its early stages, some promising projects have begun to emerge:
