Once I wake up, the first thing I think about is opening a long hedge. Actually, I hesitated at first; I was waiting for it to naturally decline because I don't like opening hedge positions, as it's quite troublesome to break even. For this reason, when I initially lost a little money, I didn't think about opening a hedge position or setting a stop-loss, which is why I ended up with such a large loss later on. If I had noticed the direction was wrong at the beginning and immediately opened a hedge position, my losses wouldn't have been this significant. Alternatively, if I had reversed my trade direction, I wouldn't have incurred losses but rather made a profit.
