Dogecoin Vulnerability Attack Causes 69% Node Crash
According to PANews, Dogecoin recently suffered an attack exploiting the 'Dogereaper' vulnerability, causing 69% of the nodes to crash. Sequentia developer Andreas Kohl executed the attack using just an old laptop.
eCash developer Tobias Ruck and Roqqit disclosed the vulnerability. Tobias Ruck first discovered this flaw while developing Doged and found a segmentation fault in the original code during porting code tests.
Tobias Ruck stated that they patched the vulnerability before the attack to ensure network security, emphasizing the importance of acting cautiously.
