According to a report by PANews, the National Investigation Unit of the Korean National Police Agency's Emergency Martial Law Special Investigation Team has stated that they have investigated Prime Minister Han Duck-soo and 8 others who participated in the State Council meeting before and after the emergency martial law was declared.

The police stated that among the 12 attendees of the State Council meeting, except for President Yoon Suk-yeol, former Minister of National Defense Kim Dong-yeon, and Minister of Unification Kim Yong-ho, the other 9 individuals are under investigation. These 9 individuals include Prime Minister Han Duck-soo, Deputy Prime Minister for Economy Choi Sang-mok, and Minister of Justice Park Seung-chae, among others.
