Roger Ver, known as "Bitcoin Jesus," has been released on bail in Spain, facing extradition to the US on tax fraud charges. Ver posted $163k bail, must remain in Spain, surrender his passport, and report to court every two days.

The US seeks his extradition for failing to report capital gains or pay taxes on Bitcoin holdings, allegedly avoiding at least $48m in taxes. His lawyer states that Ver has been in contact with US authorities, questioning the need for his arrest.
